Re. Layoff due to Poor Performance

Dear Manson,

The purpose of writing this letter to you is to inform you that you have been laid off from Chersek Ole Group of Companies due to poor performance. Your employment comes to an end in July and is effective from 31st July 20XX. The decision has been taken by the CEO and Managing Director of the company and is irreversible.

You are laid off from the company due to poor performance reasons. On 16 May, the Assistant Manager and Quality Assurance Officer had a meeting with you in which they told you that your performance at Chersek Ole Group of Companies was not up to the standard of the work demanded and the productivity needed at the office. In the wake of poor performance and lack of required proactivity, the performance coach warned you to mend your performance with the required working quality and skills within 50 days from 18th May 20XX.

Your performance log and profile were scrutinized on 15th July and it was found that no performance was improved. This has led the company to decide to terminate you from your employment permanently.

You are advised to meet the HR Manager for further queries related to your signature on the no-solicitation agreement and other policies regarding layoff. You are advised to return the company property you possess which includes a Suzuki Star number TF-3423, official files and other documents, and an Apple MacBook Air-13 till 31st July 20XX.

We have arranged a meeting for you with the Finance Manager of the company to complete all processes related to your next salary slip, layoff payment, and other financial matters.

We wish you good luck in your future and are open to any kind of queries for which you can write to [email protected].

Thank you

Sincerely,

Re. Layoff due to No Improvement in Performance

Dear Jen,

I am Shark Gibb, the Senior Manager, from Nelson Group of Textiles. The purpose of writing this piece of note to you is to inform you that you have been terminated from the company due to poor performance at work. The working performance report for May-July indicates that there is an obvious lack of interest in the work at your end. Your layoff will be effective from 29th July 20XX.

Mr. Shark, who is a performance coach, has informed the Department of Quality Assurance that you were warned by the Manager and Performance coach while big loopholes were found in the presentation and other tasks assigned by the company. Further, you were seen as highly unprofessional and disinterested in the project handed over to you.

They have informed the company that you were given a 90-day target to set your interest in the work and show credibility in your working quality and productivity. It is said with great disappointment that it did not affect you anyway and you did not set yourself according to the desires and demands of the work required in the company.

You have failed to show a rise in your working quality and put the company’s confidence into a pitfall. As you know the company is well-known and famed in good name and its projects are always considered as very well-crafted by the competent and brilliant heads of employees. The company cannot afford an on-serious attitude when it comes to the quality of work.

On these grounds, you have been laid off from the company and the company wants you to return the company assets and meet Mr. Negol in the Human Resources Department for a consultation regarding your finance and salary slip. You will be contacted by the company soon to share a sitting with Melson Sharks, the Managing Director of the company. We wish you the best of luck in your professional career.

Thank you

Sincerely,
