Sick Absence Message to Professor

#1

I hope you’ve been doing well. My name is Alice Macduff, and I am writing to inform you about my current health condition. For the past few days, I have been suffering from chronic migraines and a high fever. Although I usually keep my medication with me, I recently ran out, and it will take about two days for a new supply to arrive from another city.

I understand that the semester is ending soon, and there are several important academic tasks to complete in preparation for the exams.

It is impossible for me to attend college in my current condition, as I am unable to focus properly on my studies and need rest to fully recover. I will stay in touch with Meghan and try to cover the syllabus from home. I hope you understand my situation and kindly grant me a week of sick leave.

This is to inform you that I have been unable to attend your classes for the past three days due to a foot injury. I had a minor accident that caused injuries to my leg and foot, making it difficult for me to attend classes at the moment.

I am concerned that missing classes may cause me to fall behind in my studies and affect my grades. Therefore, I kindly request a two-week leave to recover. I would also appreciate your guidance and support in covering the missed syllabus.

Thank you for your understanding and kind consideration.

Sincerely,

Miko Do.

I am writing to inform you of my absence from the university due to a sprained ankle. While I was at a restaurant with my family, someone accidentally pushed me while I was coming down the stairs. I lost my balance, fell badly, and hit my head against the staircase, which caused me to lose consciousness and injure my ankle.

Due to this injury, I am unable to attend university for the next few days. Therefore, I kindly request you to grant me five days’ leave for recovery. I would be sincerely grateful for your understanding.

Thank you for your consideration.

I am very sorry to let you know that I cannot attend university for three days as I have a backache problem. It happened because of sitting for continuous 8 hours daily and not doing rest. As a result, I got a back problem. The doctor has suggested I must rest completely and take protective measures. I need your approval in this regard and I hope that you will consider my request.

This is to inform you that I am suffering from food poisoning after eating at a local restaurant last night. I was out for dinner with my family, and after returning home, I began vomiting and feeling nauseous. I visited the doctor’s clinic, and after initial treatment, I was advised to take fluids only for the next two days. I am feeling quite weak due to this illness and therefore request you to kindly grant me three days’ leave. I would be very grateful for your understanding and support.
