Authorization Letter to Close Bank Account

An authorization letter to close a bank account is a document prepared either by an account holder or account signatory, who, in this letter, makes a request for closing a bank account.   • The reason behind the request.

After the bank receives this request and authorization, it starts the processing and documentation. Before closing the account, the bank ensures that no credit is remaining on the part of both parties involved. Once the clearance is done, the account holder’s account leaves the bank system and records, and the account holder can no longer make any transactions through that account.
