Baby Tooth Charts
It’s that phase of parenting where your baby will start teething soon and you have absolutely no idea what to do and what not to do! Relax, just take a deep breath and know that everything will be okay. Your baby would start teething at 6 months and it is completely natural that he/she will be one of the early bloomers who start teething at 3 months. By the time your baby turns 3 years of age, he/she will have the full set of 20 primary teeth. Also, note that the lower front teeth will be coming out first.
From the time your baby starts teething, till he/she turns three years old, you need to maintain a baby tooth chart to document each and everything during the whole teething process. The chart needs to be divided into columns that represent the age of the baby, notes, and observations regarding the teething and where the teething is occurring respectively.
If you’re unsure about making the chart yourself, there are a number of baby tooth charts available online. These charts are in the form of the whole set of teeth and you can note down which teeth is coming in first. These charts have information written on them which will guide you through the whole process. These online baby tooth charts are handy and easy to print.
You can even combine your own chart and an online chart to make the documentation process more efficient and help make your pediatrician or baby dentist aware.
