An invoice or bill is a notice sent by you to your customers to inform and notify them about the due payment for the products sold or services rendered by you to them. A sample company invoice should include the details of the products sold by a company or services rendered by a company, the details of payment, total payment, the mode of payment, the place of payment and the due date of payment.
How to make a comprehensive company invoice that can fulfill your needs requires the following things to keep in mind while preparing it. While you are preparing this kind of invoice for your business needs, you should mention the basic information about your company and it should appear in a professional way at top of the invoice. This information includes the name of your company, complete address, website, contact number and company logo. If you are running your business as an individual, you can write your first and last name instead of the company name. The font size of the header should be bigger than the font being used in body or middle of the invoice.
In a sample company invoice, the contact information should be provided that will be used for business correspondence and where you wish to receive payment. Your email address and phone number should be written in a font smaller than the header font. To make your address and contact information more clearly, use multiple lines. It is optional for you to use a company logo or not. After all this next comes the body of the invoice that includes all necessary details and description about the products or services you provided along with the total payable amount.
