SAINT PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATIONS & EVENT FLYERS
Saint Patrick’s Day is celebrated every year on the 17th of March on the death day of Saint Patrick who was the patron saint of Ireland.
It is a public holiday in Ireland and Northern Ireland along with the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrodoe along with the British territory of Montserrat. It is widely celebrated around the world especially in the United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina. The day celebrates and honors the saint along with the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. It therefore celebrates the culture and heritage of Ireland in general. Celebrations generally involve big public parades and festivals, and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks especially in Ireland. Christians attend the church services. The restrictions on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted for the day and therefore, it has become a tradition to drink Irish beer and whiskey.
Flyers are therefore made to spread awareness about this event and also to follow tradition as traditionally flyers were made to tell people about the different parades, festivals and other events taking place to commemorate this day. Any flyer is a good way to let others know about a happening, it is a fast, easy and inexpensive way to promote the event. Saint Patrick day flyers are attractive, simple to read and understand.
